SHD Post 730 Waterloo Honor Flight
SHD Honor Flight is a non-profit organization dedicated to sending local World War II veterans to Washington D.C. to visit various historical sites and war memorials. We proudly serve Blackhawk, Bremer, Buchanan, No. Tama, and Grundy counties.
Veterans from surrounding areas are welcomed if they are able to fly out of Waterloo Regional Airport (ALO).
SHD Honor Flight will hold three flights in 2011. Our first flight will take off Tuesday, May 10 with orientation on Saturday a.m., April 23.
Our second flight will take place Tuesday, May 17 with orientation on Saturday p.m, April 23.
